Under the direction of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özlem Derin Sağlam, the “Fifth Sense Atlas Workshop” invites participants to collectively reflect on the relationships the body establishes with space, memory, and the senses. Through sound, touch, smell, and intuition, everyday experiences will be re-explored. All interested participants are welcome.

In the “Atlas of the Fifth Sense Workshop,” participants will be invited to reinterpret their everyday experiences through sound, touch, smell, rhythm, and intuition, while exploring the invisible connections the body forms with its surroundings.
In the panel titled “Under the Skin: Power, Desire, and Resistance”, the body, identity, social norms, and practices of resistance will be examined through interdisciplinary approaches. The panel will open up discussion on the intersections between power relations and their effects on the body, as well as desire and resistance. All interested participants are warmly invited..
