Istanbul Gelişim University Gender Studies Application and Research Center Director Asst. Prof. Selda Tunç Subaşı participated in the "Combating Violence Against Women" workshop on behalf of our university. At the meeting, the importance of cooperation with universities in the fight against violence against women was emphasized, and the need to combine theory with the knowledge of the field and put it into practice was mentioned. In line with the strategic goals of the Ministry of Family and Social Services, concrete suggestions have been made on how research units will contribute to these goals.
