The March 8 International Working Women's Day Panel, organized by IGU Gender Studies Application and Research Center, will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, between 13:00-16:00 at J Block Mehmet Akif Ersoy Meeting Hall. The speakers at the panel will be Zeynep Banu Dalaman, President of the Sustainable Equality and Social Research Association; Assist. Prof. Dr. Ayşe Aydın, Head of the IGU Sociology Department; Ceren Karaca, Representative of the Mor Çatı Kadın Sığınağı Vakfı, Övgü Bingöl, Lawyer of the Kadın Cinayetlerini Durduracağız Platformu, and Sibel Kılıç, Founding Lawyer of Kılıç & Tekin Law and Mediation Office.
In the event, which will be held with the slogan and theme of “FIGHT FOR A LIFE WITHOUT VIOLENCE!”, the issue of violence, one of the most fundamental problems of our day, will be opened to discussion by the participants.
The event, which will be moderated by Assistant Professor Diler Ezgi Tarhan, Deputy Director of IGU Gender Studies Application and Research Center, is open to the participation of all our students and faculty.
